A good leather belt can be given its good look by cleaning it with saddle soap & softening it with lanolin.

If its too old for that you can use it to hold things may be in your garage as tool hanger.
Method-Cut the length you want from it.Using some nails and a hammer nail it to a wall etc in a way there are loops between two nails so you can slip in tools between belt and wall..

Or can make a tool belt
Method- Put some holes on it using a nail and a hammer.Put a thick elastic through them in a way you can slip tools through while you wearing it...

Car Batteries

The lead in car batteries can be recycled .So next time you go for new one take your old one to the dealer and mort of itme you will get a trade in offer.If not take sell it to auto part dealer or scrap dealer.Lead is so harmfull if left to contaminate environment so never throw them out..

Ashes (from stove)

To save Ashes scoop them in to a metal container (metal is the beast in case there are hidden embers.

• Stove cement
